Kololo Entertainment\u00a0 Group was formed in 1993\u00a0 as a full service production company that specializes in African International Artists and Events in the U.S.A , Africa and the Caribbean.\u00a0 Over the years, we\u00a0 managed the\u00a0 Entertainment Division for the extraordinaire popular Kilimanjaro Nightclub and Restaurant in Washington D.C and spearheaded its expansion to New York. After Kilimanjaro New York, we launched\u00a0 Club Harambee in New York as it’s Managing partner and the club was hailed as the International gathering place in New York.\u00a0 After Club Harambee, we produced several shows at Zanzibar on the Waterfront in Washington D. C. and\u00a0 was\u00a0the Director of Entertainment and Production for years.<\/p>

We,\u00a0 have produced concerts and tours for almost all of the top African, Reggae and Calypso\/Soca artists including Lucky Dube, Alpha Blondy, Salif Keita, Youssou N’dour, Fela Anikulapo-Kuti, Hugh Masekela, Miriam Makeba, Tabu Ley Rochereau, Franco and TPOK, Papa Wemba,\u00a0Soukous Stars, Koffi Olomide, Kanda- Bongo- Man, Awilo, Bunny\u00a0 Mack,\u00a0Mahmoud Ahmed, Aster Aweke, \u00a0Maxi Priest, Steel Pulse,\u00a0Buju Baton, Aswad,\u00a0Shabba Ranks, Gregory Isaacs, Damian Marley, Ziggy Marley, Stephen Marley, Burning Spear, Marcia Griffiths, Culture, Byron Lee and the Dragonaires, Dennis Brown, Mighty Sparrow, Machel Montanno, Baron, David Rudder, Sly& Robbie, Tabou Combo, King Sunny Ade, Shadow, Howard Hewitt, Roy Ayers, Melissa Morgan, Nas, Dougie Fresh\u00a0 to name a few.<\/p>

* To promote live concerts and events of African, Caribbean, and American artists\u00a0 in the United States, Africa and the Caribbean.<\/p>

* Monitor and promote the popularity of top African, Reggae and Calypso artists and organize promotional tours to fully expose them to a broader audience.<\/p>

* Identify and cultivate new young talent in Africa, expose and promote such talent to the broader world market and assist in securing concert and recording opportunities for such talent.<\/p>
